Computer Gremlins

Maybe it's because I am nearing 70 or maybe I just have an under-resourced comprehension problem. Whatever my issue, I will never understand computers. Is it that they do their own thing, or is it the operator? I swear, I am totally innocent, yet funky stuff happens when I'm not looking. I worked at a place where we all claimed computer gremlins came in at night to wreak havoc. They must have followed me home!
